Supreme Hammered is the most complex performance of VG10 steel directed by Mcusta forge! The unusual design that perfectly demonstrates the dedication and perfection of the blade making technique in Japan are only part of what makes these knives truly special.

A petty knife is used whenever "smaller" tasks need to be done in the kitchen. Whether you're cleaning vegetables, chopping fruit for a summer fruit salad or finely chopping garlic, this knife will be your first choice. It is often the case that shorter users find the Petty knife to be the most versatile shape because you can really do most tasks in the kitchen with it.

The blade is the #1 star of this knife. Complex 33-layer damascus pattern with center VG10 steel give it beautiful appearance and perfect performance. Immediately afterwards, the hammering marks that have been polished to a mirror shine leave a subtle impression of elegance and are reminiscent of a calm sea.

Right after the blade, the handle of this knife enters the scene. It is made of pakka laminated wood in a hybrid octagonal shape that is unique and exclusive to Mcusta forge. After rough shaping, each handle is hand polished to perfection. This process is unique only in this forge and no one in the world can replicate the quality achieved.

How to choose the first Japanese knife?

If you are buying your first Japanese knife, the advice is to choose a multifunctional blade shape that will cover the widest range of your needs in the kitchen. This includes Gyuto, Santoku and Bunka. The rule is that bigger people need bigger knives and vice versa.

Japanese knife as a perfect gift

Although in the culture of the Far East it is not recommended to give a blade as a gift because of the connection with cutting off good relations, they also could not resist the perfection of such a gift, so they devised a "trick" that allows them to gift knives without problems. Just ask for one coin from the person receiving the gift and in the eyes of strict superstition spirits it will be a fair exchange. Now no joke, a knife is a gift that unlike other transient things will be remembered forever because it will serve forever.
