The Benriner Super mandoline is a tool designed for fast and precise cutting of fruits and vegetables. You can easily prepare a large quantity of food, and each slice, strip, or stick will be identical to the previous one. The mandoline is extremely useful in professional and home kitchens alike.

The Benriner Super is larger than the Benriner Classic mandoline and is recommended for larger pieces of fruits and vegetables.

The basic straight blade on the mandoline is extremely sharp and can easily cut through even the toughest ingredients. The mandoline also comes with three easily attachable inserts for cutting fine or coarse julienne or thicker sticks. All blades are made of stainless steel and are extremely sharp.

The mandoline also features a safety guard that allows you to maximize the use of your ingredients. Always use the guard to protect your fingers from potential injuries. In addition, there is a screw with a sliding lever that allows you to easily and precisely adjust the desired cutting thickness (from 0.5 to 8mm).

Japanese mandolines may not be musical instruments, but the vegetables you slice with them will turn into a true symphony for your senses!

The Benriner Mandoline is made of exceptionally high-quality plastic and will serve you for many years.

How to choose the first Japanese knife?

If you are buying your first Japanese knife, the advice is to choose a multifunctional blade shape that will cover the widest range of your needs in the kitchen. This includes Gyuto, Santoku and Bunka. The rule is that bigger people need bigger knives and vice versa.

Japanese knife as a perfect gift

Although in the culture of the Far East it is not recommended to give a blade as a gift because of the connection with cutting off good relations, they also could not resist the perfection of such a gift, so they devised a "trick" that allows them to gift knives without problems. Just ask for one coin from the person receiving the gift and in the eyes of strict superstition spirits it will be a fair exchange. Now no joke, a knife is a gift that unlike other transient things will be remembered forever because it will serve forever.
